After the rainy weather in Taipei spending two weeks in sunny Vietnam earlier this month was just what I needed. We visited the coastal town Mui Ne for two days. The first night we arrived late and stayed at a central hostel in the resort area and hated it; Even though the hostel was only 100m away from the sea, it took us half an hour to get access to the beach since all resorts prohibit trespassing. But then we moved to a great hostel located in the local part of town and directly on a small beach. That was where I captured this amazing sunset.

Last week I took a trip from Taipei to Southern Vietnam. I loved riding a scooter in the central highlands around Dalat. This waterfall was a great stop!

In the Mekong Delta in Vietnam there are still some floating markets. I visited this one near Can Tho.

After four exchausting and amazing days on the motorbike in the Bolaven Plateu last week, I visited two of the 4000 islands that are located in the South of Laos in the Mekong River and are a great place to relax. I am a bit proud of myself that I actually managed to get some work done in this chilled and hot place; To reward myself, I rented a bicycle in the afternoon and explored Don Khon island where I found this beautiful waterfall just before sunset.

I already posted a photo of Mui Ne two weeks ago. At this village on the coast of Vietnam I saw the most beautiful sunsets of my travels to the south of Vietnam! I cannot wait to get back to Vietnam in January to explore the north.
